Why is it only ok for an autumn baby? I'm not being goady, I just can't make the link and it's bothering me! For some reason which I can't explain I would put it in the Crystal category rather than the Ruby category (if we were categorising that way). It just seems more 'princessy' than say Ruby. I can't think of any more gemstone names...

I'm not keen on gemstones as names so couldn't really comment on whether it's appropriate.
