Please help! Our baby girl is here and we can't decide on a name!

Our list is:

Harriet
Georgina
Helena
Felicity

Please let me have your opinions as I feel completely incapable of deciding!

Thank you!

I think it's a lovely name and totally fine to have two middle names Smile x

CormoranStrike · 24/01/2016 10:35

Beautiful names, especially Helena.

I also love Penelope, Erica and Juliet.

eatyourveg · 24/01/2016 09:03

No-one I know uses all 4 syllables in felicity, I get Ver-listy, flis-erty or flis-ty. Its just such a mouthful, I wouldn't inflict it on any of my dc

Harriet Alexandra would be my choice with nn hattie

magpie17 · 24/01/2016 08:50

I have a bugbear with Helena in that I know three who all pronounce it differently! One is He-lee-na, one is He-lay-na and one is Helen-a.

Anyway, I much prefer Harriet but Alexandra as a middle name is lovely!

Scarydinosaurs · 24/01/2016 08:46

I love all of them!

HeteronormativeHaybales · 24/01/2016 08:35

Oh, and I think Helena Felicity Alexandra is lovely.

minipie · 24/01/2016 08:34

Helena Felicity Alexandra is lovely (very Ancient Roman nobility Grin)

But... is there any chance you might have another girl... if so you might want to save your second favourite name? (Plenty of people would disagree with this though!)

wonderpants · 24/01/2016 08:28

I love Helena Felicity. Just works!
Also to add Alexandra as well if you want!
Congratulations Flowers

HeteronormativeHaybales · 24/01/2016 08:26

Helena and Felicity were two of our top contenders :)
Much prefer them to the other two, though I sort lof like Harriet (Harry is a cool nickname for a girl :) )

SleepyRoo · 24/01/2016 08:21

If you like all 3 names, go for it!! It is quite a long name BUT your daughter is never going to go around announcing herself like that anyway. She'll be Helena. And pressuring family members can back off!!!

Indecisiveness · 24/01/2016 08:10

Thank you everyone. I think we're almost there. Feeling pressure from family and friends who keep asking if we've got a name! Do you think Helena Felicity Alexandra is too much??

Harriet is lovely

Lizziedripping1 · 21/01/2016 22:55

Helena or Felicity but I think I like Helena Felicity best

Harriet is okay but immediately conjours up images of snotty nosed, public school bullies in books for girls

FarrowandBallAche · 21/01/2016 19:14

Harriet!
Fabulous name for every age.

WannaBeAMummy16 · 20/01/2016 17:15

Felicity is pretty

AuntGertrude · 20/01/2016 13:36

Helena or Felicity

spring1bee · 20/01/2016 13:26

love love love Helena and think Lenny is a really cute nn! Or if you're pronouncing it Hel-ay-nah then Laney is a nice nn also :) definitely my favourite from your list.

Sunshine511 · 20/01/2016 11:13

I LOVE the name Alexandra but I don't think it works to well since Helena finishes with 'a', if that makes sense. So my vote is for Helena Felicity.x

Indecisiveness · 20/01/2016 10:27

Thank you everyone! We will try out each name for a few hours and see if that helps. The front runner is probably Helena. We would then go for either Helena Alexandra or Helena Felicity. What do you think of these combinations?!

I have Hattie and Felicity (Fliss) ! Both gorgeous names!

Sophronia · 19/01/2016 22:52

Harriet or Georgina!

ashesandfire · 19/01/2016 21:37

I love Felicity, nn Fliss/Flissy/Fizz
Followed by Helena
Follow by Georgina then Harriet but not too keen on the last two. They're a bit boring IMO (I know several of each although admittedly teens)

CPtart · 19/01/2016 20:13

Georgina or Helena

Georgina my fave from your list - she can choose to be either girlie or boyish.
