Thinking of changing 7 weeks olds name!

My DD is 7 weeks old, and my husband has never been happy with her name. I am now also starting to have doubts, and am wondering if we should change it! Has anyone else changed the name quite late on?

I think it's lovely - not my choice but it's a lovely name. Have you gone off it? or has someone said something fucking irritating "helpful". I know people who've changed their child's name slightly - along the lines of Hugo to Hugh. Change it if you are both genuinely unhappy with it, but you loved it for a reason, you wouldn't want to regret changing it on a wobble.

If neither of you love it, then definitely change it. You will both have to say it several times a day for the rest of your lives so you may as well choose something you both love!

7 weeks is no time at all. If there's another name you both prefer go for it.

Is there a name that you and DP definitely prefer and think would be more suited to your daughter? If not, you might just be feeling anxious about it because naming a child is a big decision!x

It's a gorgeous name but if you have doubts and are certain about another name it can be done relatively easily under one year.
