Hi all

We need a boy and girl name for twins... I don;t want anything too popular, having said that James is the only boys name we agree on so it will have to be that which i know is popular.

What do you think of our girl name choices? any other suggestions?

Penelope
Vivienne
Emma

Another vote for James and Emma, because they are my two favourite names.

HixieRice · 19/01/2016 12:46

I vote for James and Emma sounds nice together.

Emily

DH is James and I'm Emma, so I'm biased there. His sister is Laura. I also have cousins called Jamesand Laura but we're all nineties born.

PP's suggestion of Ruby is my favourite.

I know a James and Sophie twin set, I have always thought they sound nice together.

I'm planning on having James and Amelia if we're lucky enough to have DC.

ineedaholidaynow · 18/01/2016 22:09

James is a good choice, same as DS Smile

Although there were a few James above him in school, don't know any younger than him.

If he had had a sister she would have been Sophie, but from your list I prefer Emma

Theresomethingaboutdairy · 18/01/2016 22:04

James and Emily go really well together. Also like James and Eliza

Oscarandelliesmum · 18/01/2016 21:59

Penelope is lovely with James. Congratulations

HackerFucker22 · 18/01/2016 21:52

Crap, just realised it's twins.. scrap alliteration, it's not good with twins imo.

PennyHasNoSurname · 18/01/2016 21:51

James and Harriet

HackerFucker22 · 18/01/2016 21:50

I know siblings: James & Juliet, James & Jessica, James & Beatrice.

I quite like the alliteration of having 2 J's

StDogolphin · 18/01/2016 20:59

Lucy and James
James and Emily
Penelope and James
James and Elizabeth

Quickchangeup · 18/01/2016 20:37

James & Ruby? That was the first combination that came to mind.
Like James & Emma from your choices is lovely too.

goldglittershitter · 18/01/2016 20:33

Emma, Eleanor, Elizabeth. Any of these would be lovely with James Smile .

IrritableBitchSyndrome · 18/01/2016 20:31

Ella, Amy, Sophie, Cara, Isobel, Daisy, Poppy?

iciclewinter · 18/01/2016 20:27

I like Emma and Penelope. I don't know of any young Penelopes but like it with nickname Penny.

WaitrosePigeon · 18/01/2016 19:51

James and Erica

BathtimeFunkster · 18/01/2016 19:49

Excellent point nephro. I knew twins Alice and Grace-everyone thought Alice was Alison when introduced together, for example.
