Thoughts on Fraser James please? Not a final final choice but currently in the lead for potential boys name.

Oh brilliant! Stroke your husband sounds fab! And wow jealous of the offshore living too! Scotland in January- too damn cold!!

And thanks to everyone else for the great comments. Fraser James it is...as long as we have a boy that is!!

Adore the name!! Fraser was high up on my boys list, but the husband vetoed it. James is his middle name though.

Hahahaha yes to all of the above except that we live offshore - he's from Edinburgh originally. I'm a Londoner.
We live in the Caribbean and Fraser is a well known Jamaican surname so most people know it. That being said, nobody can understand him although there are many Scots here! And he has no end of trouble with the spelling as most Americans here assume it's spelt Frasier or Frazer. No matter what he has to spell it! Not a big deal though as I spend my life spelling out surname too!
DS1 has James and Spencer as his middle names.
Fraser James is a damn fine name Grin

Love love love Fraser. Fraser James reminds me of that recruitment agency, Frazer Jones.. but hopefully that's just me.

Also stroke are you guys Scottish or living in Scotland? What kind of feedback does your husband have to his name south of the border.

We aren't Scottish but live up here. Although still have lots of southern friends and family- don't want them to think we've gone too out there!

Fraser is lovely. It's also one of those Scottish boys names often given to very posh English boys. Hamish being another.

Oh thanks all. Wasn't expecting so many to like it. Our other potential boys name is Finlay James (nickname Finn).

Which do you prefer Fraser James or Finlay James? DS1 is Rory Michael.
