I really need opinions on this, I love Teddy, but I know it probably isn't suitable for an adult... I have considered all the other names it's a diminutive of, but I think they all have a more obvious NN (Ed/Eddie / Theo, etc.) :)

It sounds very silly.

Why not just call him Ted, nickname Teddy, if you think Teddy by itself isn't great for an adult?

Agree, it seems a bit daft. Either call him Teddy as his full first name, or go for Theodore but introduce him to everyone as Teddy.

No I don't like it. Frederick or Theodore, but not a combo.

I think it's a bit silly, sorry. I like Theodore, and if you always call him Ted he probably wouldn't end up being Theo.
