I prefer Sebastian, I also like Seb as a shortened version.

I used to like Oliver but I've gone off it now, maybe because it's so popular or maybe my tastes have changed, or both.

I'm biased but we have a Sebastian and we love it! Alway get lovely comments wherever we go!

So much so we're expecting DS2 in a matter of weeks and we haven't a bloody clue about what to call him! Can I use Sebastian again?! Wink

Counted on the pegs in my kids' fairly small nursery the other day 3 Olivers, an Ollie, 2 Olivias and a Hollie for good measure! There is one Sebastian. Oliver will be the Steve of the future!

The last two babies born in my circle are Oliver, so I say Sebastian.

Oliver is the nicer name but popular. I actually know more Sebastian's than Oliver's strangely but that is perhaps even just a fluke. Go with your favorite

both are lovely but as everyone says, Oliver is the top boys name at the minute so there are a LOT of olivers and Ollies about!

I love sebastien its on our boys list :-)

I prefer Sebastian, but I suppose it depends which sounds better with your surname, & also with any siblings names (if this isn't your first)...

Oliver is such a lovely name, but , yes, v v popular.

Sebastian is less popular but still a handful around.

If popularity doesn't bother you, I would pick Oliver
