We still don't have a boys name we love - help!

Please help! We still have no boys name. I'm starting to feel really upset as DH and I just can't seem to pick something we both love. We have chosen Esme for a baby girl and both feel excited about it as it feels 'right' . Boys names we have noted just now but none seem perfect :(

Don't rule out every name that any friend or family member has used, if you love it.

We had very similar names in our list for ds1. We had Harrison, Hugo, Henry, Theo and Oscar but in the end we went for Julian. I love the name Julian as I'm a teacher and have never taught any other Julians. Also my ds occasionally gets shortened to Jules which I like too. : )

MumofAAndE · 27/12/2015 07:13

What about Miles? You can shorten to Milo, but doesn't have to be an adult stuck with a pets name/brand of drinking chocolate....

My usual suggestions - Austin and Quentin

We liked Esme. Instead, we have Nathaniel :)

Ezra is lovely. Is that on your shortlist now?
How about Izaak? I love it but DH vetoed it.

It's so difficult isn't it?! Especially when other people have beat you to them! Angry. Wink I do think you have some lovely names on your original list though.

KLG3101 · 26/12/2015 23:04

Jack again is our best friends son snd Finlay a surname of someone we know who we wouldn't want to share name with. We are a nightmare!!

Love Max but it's a close friends sons name sadly. Love Milo but can't see DH liking it - I will try! Love Joshua also but again it's a close friends kids name - goddammit!! Thank you so much for reading and suggesting some names!
