Seems so much easier to comment on other peoples choices than make my own I'm finding.

We are still dithering between

Susanna
Xanthe
Maeve

Surname is common boring one beginning with S

I would choose Maeve or Xanthe, while Susannah is ok I really don't like any of the shorter forms ie Sue, Susie etc

As you have a common boring surname I'd go with a more unusual first name so Xanthe, it possibly Maeve.
