Which do you prefer? I Like short simple boys names.

I have a Leo and Max is a contender for dc3 due soon. Leo is lovely but fairly common though and I wonder if it will date and be the Gary of its day... All this considered I still chose it for for ds2 though!

Max or Leo. There are a thousand young Tobys at the moment- think it's the next "Oscar" in the south-east

There are a few Max-s or Leos, but think these names have peaked and are "on the way down", so there probably won't be so many around in a few years' time.

Leo is my favourite of these- a lovely , soft name that trips off the tongue, and great at all stages of life IMO.

Good Luck!

DS middle name is Leo Smile

DramaAlpaca · 23/12/2015 00:06

Leo is my favourite of the three.

Can I suggest Ptoby....?

All perfectly good names.

What has happened on MN? Where are the silly, embarrassing names, the mis-spellings, the made-up names? I'm missing them.

swansolistice · 22/12/2015 21:48

My friends dog is a Leo! Grin

I like them all but would go for Toby if I had to choose.

cantgonofurther · 22/12/2015 21:47

I really like Toby and was on my list for my ds, however my dh and dd said it was a name for a Labrador. I like Leo too.

calzone · 22/12/2015 20:36

I have a Max and he adores his name......

Mothersruin75 · 22/12/2015 20:33

All great but my favourite is Toby.

Chewbecca · 22/12/2015 20:00

1 Toby
2 Leo
3 Max

Can I add Guy into that list?

Becca1818 · 22/12/2015 20:00

Love max

MidnightVelvetthe4th · 22/12/2015 19:59

I have a Max Smile he is one of 2 Maxs in his primary, there are no Leos and a couple of Tobys.

I prefer Leo to Toby but max over both of them

Plateofcrumbs · 22/12/2015 19:56

All great names.

Mrspopper · 22/12/2015 19:55

I like Leo and Toby, less keen on Max.

Bellejournee · 22/12/2015 18:49

I like Max and Toby.

scribblegirl · 22/12/2015 18:48

Those are my three favourite boy's names - you have great taste OP!

My top choice is Leo, but only because we have Toby and Max in the extended family. If we didn't have that issue then I don't think I could pick between them!

dreadfully unhelpful post

Grin
Montsti · 22/12/2015 18:42

I like Max & Leo but not keen on Toby at all...

xmasseason · 22/12/2015 18:32

Leo is my favourite of the three. I also quite like Max.

Issie339 · 22/12/2015 18:18

I love all these names but would say Toby is my favourite, it's on the list for DS who is due in a few months Grin

AwfulBeryl · 22/12/2015 12:58

I have a Toby. I have only known there to be lots of them on Mn, none in his class or year but we do pop in to the odd one at a public attraction.
His cousin is Max and in the same year as him at school, they're both lovely names.

Mrspopper · 22/12/2015 12:51

They all go well with surname. I like them all though Toby is a new contender!
