We had originally decided on Jessica with thea as a middle name as my oh really likes thea but i thought it sounded a bit random. Now i can't decide which one to go for!

DS1 was going to be either Thea or Althea but he was a boy.

I would imagine a Thea to be bright, creative, sensible, studious girl.

Thanks for all the replies, atleast theres not a massive reaction against Thea! Maybe I'll have to decide once shes born!

Are you pronouncing it 'tay ah'
I work with a delightful Theya it's a great name

Pinklily1 · 14/12/2015 19:55

Both lovely but Thea is perhaps the less used of the two, so I would go for that.

I have a Thea and get lots of compliments. I love it!

Both lovely but I'd go for Thea.
