I can't decide between the name Zoey or Aurora. Please help me to decide.

Zoe no y

mummy2twobabies · 13/12/2015 20:24

Thank you for all your answers. I never thought the y would be a big deal as our surname is one you have to spell. But if I pick Zoe/y it will be something I really think about as I hate spelling my name all the time. It would be unfair on dd2 to have to spell both her names.

Zoe

Although I too like the nn Rory!

IguanaTail · 13/12/2015 19:55

With two dots on the e Zoë

Sophronia · 13/12/2015 19:53

Zoe spelled this way.

villainousbroodmare · 13/12/2015 19:50

Both lovely but I'd certainly drop the y on Zoe.

IguanaTail · 13/12/2015 19:50

Don't put a y on it. She will have to spell it every day for her whole life.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 13/12/2015 19:48

Rory is a gorgeous nickname for Aurora.

Like Zoe too but agree it's better without the Y.

celtictoast · 13/12/2015 17:45

I prefer Aurora.

Oysterbabe · 13/12/2015 17:41

Zoe. No y.

mummy2twobabies · 13/12/2015 17:39

Looks like Zoey is the choice at the minute. My dd really likes it. I like aurora mainly because I like the nn Rory.

Aurora is the sound of a dog chewing a toffee so it's Zoe for me.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 13/12/2015 17:27
