Looks good in leather.

BikeRunSki · 09/12/2015 07:16

I know a couple, both around 7-8. I quite like it. One has a twin called Cole.

WeThreeMythicalKings · 09/12/2015 07:15

A girl in Neighbours years ago or an American cowboy. Not very keen.

VulcanWoman · 09/12/2015 07:12

I like it. Not many about either.

LineyReborn · 09/12/2015 06:49

I like it, too.

But I also like Noah. Smile

Raines100 · 09/12/2015 06:45

I like it. And I don't think it's ever been popular enough in the UK to be assigned to a class, so no, not chavvy. Go for it.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 09/12/2015 00:13

I like it, but then I love cool American names (both DSs have names more popular in the US)

Jw35 · 08/12/2015 22:34

I like it, it was on my list for a boy!

Belle9985 · 08/12/2015 22:32

Yeah, I think we may go for it :)

I like it. With an 'ie' for a girl. But we used it for our dog - sorry! She is a lovely yellow lab. Smile

DancingDinosaur · 08/12/2015 22:18

I like it. Its not chavvy.

Belle9985 · 08/12/2015 22:18

Tacky? Hmm I feel like it goes well with Darcy - I call her Darce a lot and would probably call him Code... Blush I can't really shorten Noah! (I love it though)

There will always be people that hate any name you choose. In the real world most people won't care.
I know a Cody and he's a lovely wee boy.

Tiggeryoubastard · 08/12/2015 22:13

Hate it, tacky and very American, not in a good way. I can imaging it being one of the nes screeched in supermarkets by parents.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/12/2015 22:12

Poor op Grin. It can be brutal in the sweet, gentle topic of baby names.

Noah is nice Smile, and Darcy.

Sallyhasleftthebuilding · 08/12/2015 22:06

Love it. Know one in his teens.

Belle9985 · 08/12/2015 22:03

Is Noah or Cody better? Sister is Darcy :)

DramaAlpaca · 08/12/2015 22:02

It's not to my taste, but if you like it why not?

It's very bad mannered to describe a name as chavvy, IMO.

Angelto5 · 08/12/2015 21:23

I like it but just realised the only one I know is a girl!(from the uk)

The name reminds me of my childhood, watching the rescuers down under. Smile

JennyOnAPlate · 08/12/2015 21:17

I know a coby. I prefer that.

Wharm14 · 08/12/2015 21:15

Oh, Cody was on my list as one of the only two myself and DH agreed on. Might re-think it now as well! Sad

BloodyDogHairs · 08/12/2015 21:13

OP if you like the name use it, I'm now going to google Chav to see if I tick all the boxes Wine

Belle9985 · 08/12/2015 20:53

I don't see how it's chavvy Hmm

Here in the US it's pretty trailer-trash. Automatically makes one think of Budweiser beer, camoflage attire, pickup trucks and such.
