Flower names

So we have a Daisy and currently looking for names for our next one. I originally completely shunned other flower names like Poppy, Lily, Rose etc. as I thought it would be a bit naff. That was until Jasmine was mentioned and both of us did a double take and thought that's a nice name.
(Oh and we are finding it hard to agree on girls names - a boys one is sorted!)
So what do the mumsnet jury think? Ok or will everyone be sniggering behind our backs even though I'm sure they will be polite to us?

I honestly don't see it as a problem - I'm Lily and my sister is Jasmine and it was never a problem!

It circumvents the potential naff factor by not ending in an ee sound.

Daisy and Poppy would be ultra twee but Daisy and Jasmine sound nice together.

Sophronia · 03/12/2015 16:33

I agree that Daisy and Jasmine sound nice together.

Fleur itself.

That's some quick answers and positive which is good as we seem to have very different views on girls names!
He likes Charlotte but it's not for me, whereas I love Madeleine but he can't go for that! So it was funny when his sister said what about Jasmine and we both looked at each other and went oh yes that's nice! Plus Daisy was listening and seemed happy saying like the princess!

Agree with others above - Daisy & Jasmine sound good together.

Think Jasmine is a lovely name in its own right but goes well with Daisy.

I have a Jasmine, it's a beautiful name Smile and I still love it 11 years on.
