DP and I cannot agree on a girls name at all. We have similar tastes with boys names but differ completely when it comes to girls. We have a while yet as I'm only 16 weeks, but having a difficult pregnancy and I think that having a name will help me bond iyswim?
Dd is Kara, and surname ends in a "y".

So if I like: Imogen, Elle/Eleanor, Alice, Lily, and Sophie
And DP likes: Natasha, Heather, Jessica, Hannah, and Zoe

What will we both like?

(Apologies for typos, those video ads on the sidebar are playing havoc with my iPad!)

Really love some of these suggestions and am adding them to the list. DP and I both like Naomi so that's a huge step forward - thank you!
Agree with the suggestion of a "n" ending name - it sets it apart a bit.
Will try namedtogether too - thank you.
Please keep the suggestions coming!

Try the namedtogether website, but set a rule that you must choose at least say, 40 names that you both like. It helped us x

I like the suggestion of Eloise.

How about Tamsin?

With a surname ending -y and a sibling ending -a, I think an n ending would be a good contrast.

Do you see my problem btw? Dp either says no to everything or else the name is already in our close family!

Bagheera - lovely names but NN for Annabel in our family is "Bella" so a bit too close.
Dp just said Imogen is growing on him so any more along those lines?

ImperialBlether · 30/11/2015 11:24

Gabrielle or Gabriella (with Elle or Ellie or Ella for short)?

TheWordOfBagheera · 30/11/2015 11:23

If you love Annabel, what about Arabella or Amabel?

I love Emily and Gabrielle/a but DP isn't keen.
Already have Spphie and Annabel in the family. Love Annabel though so along those lines would be good!
