If I like Martha...

Florence, Ava, does anyone have any other suggestions? I have a feeling this child will be DS's suggestion of Doorframe if I don't get my act together.

in my opinion yes Ava is very popular. Lovely name but I hear it everywhere.

Also maybe Ruth or Naomi or Rachel? All more adult woman names than baby names, which seems to be more your style.

Mary! She'll likely be the only one in her class, everyone can spell it, a good classic name.

Also Louise/Louisa, Helen/Helena, Laura, Sarah, Victoria, Harriet, Tabitha, Dorcas.
