Does anyone like the name Gracelynn?

I was inclined to pronounce it Grak-e-lyn when I first read it. I know it's Gracelynn with a soft C but still..

I don't like it at all. It sounds like a combination of Caitlyn (which I hate) and Grace (ruined by the addition).

Gracelynn would not be on my shortlist, Grace is ok as is Lynne but not together. Seems very 'chavvy' as a name. Grace as first name and Lynne as middle name is preferable (although I wouldn't go for it ).

I'm surprised that you don't think it's unusual.

Grace and Gracie are lovely but GraceLynn (apologies if the capital isn't right) is actually quite awkward to say.

Anyway your daughter can always shorten if she doesn't like it in the future, and if she does like it then that's all that matters.

My middle name is Lynn and I don't like it at all. You love her name though and that's all that maters. Personally I would have gone with Grace or Gracie
