I've heard both around here but the one I actually know is pronounced Ever-Lynn. I'm NW.

Eve-lyn (Home counties) and my friend who is called that pronounces it that way too and she is also from same area

It's my aunts name, we all pronounce it like that.

Either. I prefer Ever-Lyn,, and thought it was always that as a child, but the only real life ones I've known have been Eve-Lyns so I'd check before saying it.

I've never heard of Ever-Lyn as a pronunciation of Evelyn.

It's either Ev-Lyn or Eve-Lyn. Both are valid. I prefer Eve-Lyn.
