Boys' names ending in 'o'

Any I've missed? Thought I'd like an 'o' name but maybe I was wrong - only really like two of the above.

I think most Cornish people would be amused at the idea of a Cornish name being 'pretentious'!

Is your brother planning to have a baby soon? If not, it wouldn't be fair for him to "reserve" the name - he might never have a boy anyway. Even if he does, he and his partner might choose another name in the end. If he likes the name I'm sure he'd be pleased to have a nephew with it. And I say that from your brother's pov, because I had a boy's name I liked and thought I might use one day (I'm not pregnant) and now my sibling and their partner are probably going to use the name. I was disappointed when I first found out, but I'm mostly excited about having a nephew, and they don't need my blessing to use the name, but they have it anyway!

Anyway, sorry I went off on a slight tangent there. But I think you should pick whichever name you and DH love, whether it's Rowan (who cares if some strangers on MN don't like it!) Theo or Jago.

Theo was the other 'o' name AnotherEmma. Thing is, I know my brother really likes Theo - but he's not having a baby.

Rowan was initially my overall fave but received a muted response on these boards.

There's a Jago or two around here (Southern England, no nearer to Cornwall than you are). I never knew it was a Cornish thing. It doesn't sound pretentious.

Thanks Cake - Jago is one of my top two. My only reservation is whether it sounds a bit pretentious since we're not Cornish.
