what is the most unusual name you have heard irl?

Heard today:-

Spring-rose

At the doctors the other day was deliah-rose. Thought it was a misspell for Delilah but then maybe it's Delia?

And the when I worked in a nursery there was a little boy called deneil. Not too bad you say, till you knew his older brother was called Neil Hmm

With reference to the Muff mentioned upthread, there was an old lady called Muff at church when I was a child, but it was some kind of mispronounciation by an infant sibling/nickname that stuck rather than her actual name.

Encountered an Onyx in a shoe shop once.

Also worked with a girl called mystery. It was a mystery how she kept her job too lazy to do any work

I once heard a mother calling "Serendipity, come here!" in a shop in Hampstead... That's probably the most unusual name I've heard in real life.

Less out there but still a bit unusual, there was a baby Lysander in a baby group I went to earlier this week - I was wondering whether the parents got the name from Shakespeare or Jilly Cooper. I love that name but DH would never have gone for it.

Rhedds sibling had a unique name too they must be in their late teens . I know a few finns with different spellings boys and girls.

I know a Boudicca as well, siblings are Jago, Tatiana and Tallulah.

I knew a Xzanthy in primary school, pronounced like Xanthe but her parents wanted to get x, y and z all in one name.

I have also met a Tarragon, a Hepzibah and a Hoagie (all girls), and a male Choire (pronounced like Corey)
