Autumnal girls names

I'm 40+6 and haven't decided on a girls name yet. I'm trying to find names which capture the magic of autumn. My own birthday is in October and I remember walking home from school in the leaves, smelling bonfires and having that frisson of excitement about toffee apples and Halloween. I like unusual, gothic, Victoriana, romantic names but can't find the right name which encapsulates all of the above. My current name is Violetta which ties in loosely with an aunt of dh also but all suggestions are welcome.

I did conside sapphira in case they came early in sept but dh said it sounded like as cage dancer's name...Hmm

FWIW, Bronwyn would be a boys' name. Bronwen is the female equivalent.

I know what you mean about Sorrel and sorrow, and discarded for the same reason. But I met a Sorrel recently and it just seems such a beautiful name. The sorrow association just isn't there.

Friends dd called Estelle and it's a fab name but a bit hard like the character. Opal is cool but also makes me thing of opal fruits and being scottish, of folk shouting "oh! Pal"! We used to say at primary school personal arse licker too so thats a no no too.

Estella for gothic Great Expectations vibe..or Opal for October.. my daughter's birthday is in October and she doesn't have a middle name, she asked why and I said she could choose one if she wanted and she chose Opal. She tells everyone that's her middle name now! Obvs not going to actually have it added to her birth certificate or anything but it makes her happy!

Layla and isadora are on my list, like isadora but dislike izzy etc. for a nn. Adora might be better but you can't dictate nns. I like aphra, will look it up
