I have 44 names on my shortlist and dh doesn't find a single one acceptable! I don't like his either to be fair, he prefers more classic names , top 30, quite timeless, I'd like something fairly unusual, that you don't associate with a particular class, quite strong, at least two syllables - came across bluebell quite randomly (I'm nearly at number 2000 in the ONS list) and it's so unusual to actually find one we both like - just concerned it's a bit too out-there, I suppose.

Well i like it..... cristabel or annabel have more longevity but Bluebell is nice!! It is quirky but pretty. Unusual but not weird.

It's pretty, though a bit too "try hard", good if you are hoping she will be a dancer though.

What about Christabel, that has a good history and a bit of oomph!

Not for me, but it's your choice. If you do go with it, give her a more usual second name so she can choose when adult.

I'd prefer Belle or Bella.

Gerri Halliwell's daughter is Bluebell.

Not an overused name. Plenty of people Have named their children after other plants, a Daisy and Jasmine come to mind, so if you like it, use it.

It conjures up Geri Halliwell. Which is never welcomed by me.
