What do you do if there isnt one boys name you like in the whole wide world....

My baby is no more precious than anybody else's and I have heard some lovely names on here or given by friends to their children, just not for myyyyyy baby boy... (Not that I know i'm having a baby boy)

But I kid you not, there is not one single boys name that I would actually consider... what am I going to do if I have a boy??

Tell me you're fairly uncommon names - when I say uncommon, anything away Top 20. I'm not the posh kind and won't be calling my son Ptolemy or Atticus. I'm also not of the Kayden or Riley taste...

The closest I have come to liking a name is Theo but absolutely not allowed by DH. Also aware that this is rising in popularity so going against my own rule. However, I only know one owho is around 4 years now so not popular in my area

We agreed on Sebastian in the end and everyone loves his name. He is mainly Seb.

We struggled right to the end OP. I was a week overdue when we finally stumbled across a name we liked and we knew it was THE ONE! I dread to think what we would have called him if he'd been early or on time.

Names I've subsequently heard that I really like:

Torben (it's a Scandinavian name)
Atticus
Hayden
Samwell

If you aren't allowed Theo, how about Teo (Tay-oh - It's a real name, I teach one)? Or Theodore?

Or you could like at unisex names as you find girl's names easier to like:

Aubrey, Ashton, Ashley, Asher, Brynn, Brogan, Brody, Dylan, Dakota, Ellis, Elliot, Eden, Emerson, Francis, Georgie, Harley, Hadley, Jude, Jesse, Leslie, Morgan, Mason, Noah, Parker, Quinn, Robin, Rowan, Spencer

What!!! You are welsh, problem solved. I love welsh names so you should too I'm not welsh so didn't name my kids welsh names but you can.

Ok, since you like Gabriel, we liked that, but decided to keep Gabriela (Spanish spelling) for a girl. DS Is Alessandro Valentino. We use Valentino, but Tino ( pronounced tea-know) for everyday.

DC3 is Luisa, just to finish the list.

Don't think Stanley has been mentioned yet? Stanley James was my choice for a boy but we're team pink.

Our DS is called Joseph but we call him Joe, Jo-Jo or Buster. DH refers to him (ironically and in a 'cool' way he thinks) as 'The Youth'. He is 9 months old. Hmm

I really wanted Charlie, but we'd already called our dog that name. So then I said Adam. DH didn't agree, but we had a girl anyway.

I still love Adam as a boy's name, even though we never got to use it Sad
