DSD is thinking of using Dawn for her DD when born. What do you think? If you don't like it what first name would go with Dawn as a middle name. Surname is 2 syllables.

I'm not a fan, I quite like Aurora though which means dawn.

I love it! I know one and she is pleased with her name. No one gets it wrong and is a strong, nature name. Go for it

I don't like it tbh, there's something about the sound that feels a bit wet to me or like a butter substitute. Nothing really wrong with it though!

With Dawn as a middle name I think a longer first name suits.
Evelyn, Rosalie, Christina, Imogen, Matilda, Rhiannon, Florence, Julianne, Liana, Heather, Rebecca, Amelia etc.

I don't like it simply because it doesn't sound nice in my accent - I find it difficult to say and it comes out the same as Don - therefore it doesn't sound pretty or even a girls name :(

Using it as a middle name:

Susannah Dawn
Jessica Dawn
Vivienne Dawn
Megan Dawn
Gabrielle Dawn

I think it's beautiful. I'd be tempted to use something from nature such as Dawn Rowan or Dawn Willow.

Gorgeous name.
