Hello what do you think of Leonardo Socrates? Too prentious? Struggling with what to put after Leonardo!

In all seriousness, if you like Socrates, just use it. This is your baby. Nobody pays any attention to middle names anyway. I think it's super. Just don't forget to put Splinter in there somewhere.

I must point out though, my ds is called Raphael Erasmus.

We are not trying hard, pretentious or any of the above judgmental tripe Grin.

Realistically, nobody ever uses your second name. My ds in day to day life is just called Raf or Raffi.

How about going super-simple (John, Jacob etc) for the middle name. It gives a nice contrast to Leonardo.

If you're Greek then I might give you a free pass- maybe. Grin
Leonardo is lovely but if you're both from Bognor Regis with rootsroots spanning centuries in Chipping Norton, then errr, no.

It can be hard to find a name to team with an Italian one. DS is Valentino, we settled for Alessandro to pair with it, but put Alessandro first as it sounded better. Now causing nightmares remembering to use his "first" name for school/flights/doctors.....

Leonardo is great and easily shortened to Leo or even Leonard if he doesn't like it.
