A second cousin of mine recently had a baby girl named Kinley and I am afraid this is in the same vein.

Ainsley is maybe a bit nicer though equally not a name I would use.

Kingsley, while in the same category, at least has familiarity going for it.

It sounds like a surname. I strongly dislike surnames as first names and Kinsley sounds particularly bad. Of course it sounds made up but aren't all the majority of surnames used as first names made up?!

I love that name. I have a best friend called Kinsley and she is the greatest friend I could ask for. The name is very unique so you know who it is. Love it. xxxxx

I haven't bothered to look it up and see if it is an actual name, but my first impression is that you made up a name trying to be cute and original. I really, really don't like it and couldn't take anyone with that name seriously. Sorry.

Kingsley is actually quite a posh name. I've met a couple, both quite well to do chaps.

Kayden certainly is a name. If you've never met one, visit this part of the Midlands and you'll meet one or many.

I don't find Kinsley very easy to say TBH, and it wouldn't work with quite a few surnames. I don't actively dislike it though, I've certainly heard worse names.

Have you got anything else on your short list?

I live near Kinsley Greyhound Stadium, so it's a no from me.

My cousin changed to his first name to Kingsley. It has special significance in our family. Our Great Grandma had to have the doctor out to her for the birth of her twins. The doctors surname Kingsley. The name has been handed down the generations since as a middle name.

Its a K name.

Not for the moment as K names are thought of in a certain way at the moment.

Doesn't matter if its Kinsley or Kingsley.

It sounds very American, I've also seen Kinsey, Tinsley, Tinley etc. used there (usually for girls).
