So I think we are pretty set on Elliot for our baby girl due in a few month, but what do you think of a middle name

Elliot Josephine
Elliot Louise
Elliot Lucy
Any other pretty suggestions, she will probably be referred to as Ellie

Elliot Elizabeth

I know a female Elliot who's known as Ellie

IsabellaMarie · 25/04/2021 19:42

By now little Elliot is born, but to anyone else who’s looking at middle names, here’s a few! These are more adventurous since the majority are quite short and common. Also Elliot for a girl is just gorgeous!

  1. Elliot Bellamy (Ellie Bellie)
Both are traditionally masculine names but I think they are just gorgeous for a girl!
  1. Elliot Maison
Again traditionally masculine, but I think with a more feminine spelling its just beautiful!
  1. Elliot Carter
Theses aren’t super feminine, but at a certain time Lesley and Alison weren’t either.
  1. Elliot Covette
Covette is derived from Collette and I think pares really Elliot!
  1. Elliot Darling
Darling is a bit out there, but I think when It comes to names you really can’t get more feminine then darling! Also it has some Disney roots.... Wendy Darling form Peter Pan!
  1. Elliot Stacy/Stacey
  2. Elliot Finch
  3. Elliot Maeve
  4. Elliot Sloane
10. Elliot Piper

Boy's name. And used, as you said yourself, to make the point that the TV girl Elliot was a disappointment to her father. That's not really cool.

Knitknatknot · 15/10/2015 19:31

Elliott Elizabeth nice too

HelenF35 · 15/10/2015 16:10

I have a boy called Elliott but I like it for a girl also. I like Alexandra as a middle name.

Tornupinside · 15/10/2015 15:58

Love it! Sorry no suggestions for middle names but Elliot for a girl is awesome, bumping ??

NadiaWadia · 13/10/2015 15:36

Boy's name. I don't think she'll thank you for it. Sorry.

Wishful80smontage · 13/10/2015 15:25

I love Elliot for a girl fab name- I think Josephine is lovely as mn.
If she's an Elliot call her Elliot- so many Ellie's very very popular.

Poopy22 · 13/10/2015 15:23

Forgot to add I know girls and women with the above names no one thinks they're men

Poopy22 · 13/10/2015 15:22

It's a unisex name no more weird than Ashley, Morgan, Charlie, Jamie, Blake, Kennedy, Cassidy,

LittleBearPad · 12/10/2015 23:03

God she's going to get fed up wth people telling her 'oh I thought you'd be a bloke'.

Marisaurus · 12/10/2015 22:47

Elliot Annabel is pretty.

threenotfour · 12/10/2015 22:16

Elliot Heather

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 12/10/2015 22:12

I live in London and know tons of Elliotts. They're all boys.

MrsMichelRouxJr · 12/10/2015 22:00

How about Eliana instead?

Beautiful name, unusual but definitely a girl's name. Dislike Elliot for a girl, sorry.

peggyundercrackers · 12/10/2015 21:22

For me Elliot is a boys name, always will be. People who meet her won't think ooh cool, they will think why did your parents give you a boys name, that's a bit silly.

Trooperslane · 12/10/2015 21:03

Do you need one?

Elliot is a family surname for dh and I'd use it boy or girl.

Babylove2015 · 12/10/2015 20:56

Clearly you don't care if your daughter finds it hard to deal with and is teased for having a boys name. Seriously it won't make you look cool.

What about Eliette as an alternative? I have a friend with that name and think it's beautiful

LemonBreeland · 22/09/2015 14:14

I love Elliot for a girl. I would probably put a quite feminine name as a middle name to balance it out.

DH wouldn't let me have a girl called Elliot.

StDogolphin · 22/09/2015 14:11

Elliot Elizabeth

Strokethefurrywall · 22/09/2015 14:02

Urgh, Lottie is horrendously overused and cutesy - stick with Elliot, it's a brilliant girls name! We were going to call DS1 Dylan if he was a girl, doesn't seem to have harmed Dylan Lauren's career any.
Also love Ellis for a girl too, I think they are very refreshing names rather than hearing the same old Olivia/Sophie/Isabelle names. Which are lovely of course. But very well used.
