I am finally down to 2 names:
Eva or Imogen
but really can't decide, change my mind every day!

I think there are a lot of eva varients but not sure how bothered i would be (being one of many emmas growing up didnt really bother me). It's my nan's name which is nice too.

Not sure i would like it if imogen was shortened or if a lot of people pronounced wrong all the time, would you say it's a bit of a faddy name that will go out of fashion?

There are three Evas in DC2's class. It's very trendy and is one of "the" names of the decade.

Imogen is also popular but much more timeless. I know one shortened to Immy and one to Midge.

I don't like either name but out of the 2 I would go with Imogen as it's less common.

Imogen every time, the bazillion Eve variants are getting on my nerves.

Imogen is the perfect name :) It's not a faddy name - it's a very old English name that appears in Shakespeare - in fact he might have invented it. It belongs to the wave of old English names and they don't seem to be going anywhere - Harriet, Lucy, Hermione etc. I can tell you that it may well get shortened but there are no ugly derivations and most people know how to pronounce it. In fact most people adore it.

20 teens = the years 2010 to 2020.

I prefer Imogen of those two but v likely some will shorten it.

Eve is also nice? What is 20teens?

applecatchers36 · 06/09/2015 19:06

Think Imogen is the best out of the two. Eva/ Ava et al seem very popular ...

I much prefer Imogen. How would it be pronounced wrong? I don't thing it's faddy. Eva and its variants scream "20 teens" though.
