What do people think of the name raef for a boy?

Not for me. I like real names, not made up ones. I taught a Zoie, once. Her mum couldn't spell.

I like it, but please spell it how everyone else does. Else that person will spend a lifetime correcting people and explaining his name. And I mean a lifetime!

Rafe is a great name Grin

Wishful80smontage · 27/08/2015 13:57

Rafe is very nice

Squooshed · 27/08/2015 13:53

Yes, Rafe will avoid all that

'it's pronounced Rafe actually'
'Yes really'
'Yes I know it's spelt with an L, but it's a silent L'
'I SAID IT'S PRONOUNCED RAFE'

I bet Ralph Fiennes sometimes wishes he was a Rafe.

orchidnap · 27/08/2015 13:51

I'm not sure why anyone would think it was Ralf rather than Ralph??

wineandpopcorn · 27/08/2015 13:49

Ha ha!!! What about Rafe? I don't like the proper spelling of Ralph, as he would always get called Ralf instead!

I prefer Rafe.

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 27/08/2015 13:41

I'd think it was a spelling mistake
