Is your instant though a boy or a girl? I love names that fit both but DP is going off this one....

Girl is my first thought as the only Jude I know is female (short for Judith).

I love the name for a boy. I wouldn't call a girl Jude though because it's so obviously not a name for both genders. Jude was an Apostle and so it's a male Biblical name. He is the patron saint of Hope, which is beautiful. It really is a lovely name.

Boy (only because it's my nephews name)
