We already have a boy called Noah and deciding on a name for our baby girl. Please let me know your honest thoughts:

Sienna
Millie
Libby

Sienna

Enkopkaffetak · 27/07/2015 23:48

I love Millie always have dd2 was almost named Milicent to be called Millie

CatHackney · 27/07/2015 23:41

So your son gets a whole traditional name and daughter is only going to get a nickname for the rest of her life? She won't be a little kid forever.

MrsEdinburgh · 27/07/2015 17:07

I think Libby is lovely.
I know a Liberty nn Libby.

steppemum · 27/07/2015 17:03

to me Libby and Millie aren't stand alone names. I think they sound like nicknames and are lovely on children but leaves very little choice as an adult.
So I would go for longer versions with those as nn. But Millicent is dreadful.

Emily, nn Millie is lovely

can't comment on Sienna as I have a relative with that name who is beautiful, so that is what I now think of when I think of it, but when I was told her name I hated it!

StaceyAndTracey · 27/07/2015 16:58

Exactly what whore and peace said

jo164 · 27/07/2015 16:56

I am probably biased - but I have an Emily - nn Milly :-)

PallasCat · 27/07/2015 16:46

Libby

ems942 · 25/07/2015 17:02

Libby

answersonapostcardplease · 20/07/2015 22:34

Millie is beautiful

TJTR1 · 20/07/2015 22:30

I know a Millie whose full name is Milena which is a nice alternative if you want something not too popular which you can shorten to Millie.

TravellingHopefully12 · 20/07/2015 20:38

I think Sienna is gorgeous

I like Elizabeth but not Libby. Too contrived. Strongly dislike Millie, it sounds like an abbreviation and is overwhelmingly common. Sienna ...no. Sorry, not very positive.

crapfatbanana · 20/07/2015 16:12

Noah and Millie. Millie could (if you wanted) be short for Millicent,,
Melissa or Camilla.

Fleecyleesy · 20/07/2015 16:10

Libby (Elizabeth)
Lily is nicer than Millie IMO
Emily also very nice

NanaNina · 20/07/2015 16:08

Emily much nicer than the other names. My GD has a lovely name (Anya) and very unusual and her cousin is Ottilie (again very unusual) Do you like Lydia.....

Letmegetanamechange · 20/07/2015 16:07

Vote for Libby here!

(I have an Elizabeth, nn Libby so I am obviously biased Grin)

MummyPiggy87 · 20/07/2015 15:57

Sienna "spray tan"
Millie "cookies"
Libby I love !

KLou1105 · 20/07/2015 14:19

Noah and Libby :)

Minniebrown · 20/07/2015 13:27

Thanks all! I didn't think choosing a girls name would be so difficult!! I'm now thinking of using Emily. It's quite popular which puts me off a bit but its a lovely name x

Sienna is a faddy name and one that will date quickly. In 10 years time no one will be calling their baby Sienna. I don't like Libby, I'm not sure why but it sounds ugly to my ears. And definitely should be a nn. Livvy or Liv as nn's for Olivia are much nicer. Millie is ok but again possibly a bit faddy at the moment. I don't think it will date the same way as Sienna though. I'm also not sure about it as a name for an adult, it sounds a bit little girl or teenager-ish IYKWIM.

MammaFett · 20/07/2015 08:13

Millie, I love that name so much so it's DDs name!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 20/07/2015 08:12

Love Libby, it's gorgeous.

MamaLazarou · 20/07/2015 08:10

Sienna is lovely. Libby is just awful, sorry.
