Teachermummy27 my parents chose Lois for it's strong biblical meaning...my mum chose Rachael but dad chose Lois & I'm so glad he did. I like Rachael but there's a lot of them about Grin Do you know many other Lois's?

Lois...definitely but then I'm biased, my name's Lois (pronounced Low-iss)
I only knew one other Lois when growing up & now there's no other Lois that I can think of (except for Lois Lane). I was a bit unsure of when younger but now I LOVE it especially as it is unusual! I'm definitely not manly HettyB Confused in fact my kids are all outdoor boys & even though DH & I do all outdoor activities too I'm actually very feminine x

Lois and Marley are nice too (though I have only ever heard Low-iis. The thought of Loyce puts me right off it - sounds like Lice!)

I dont mind what the names remind anyone of and i dont think superman or family guy r the worst things to think of, if its a girl and she has that name then people will think of her.

Also i know flynn isnt a girla name i said i like it for a boy x

Milan and Lois are both lovely. Marley is awful, especially for a girl. And Flynn is not a girls name either.
