Due a come-back, or not?

Kevan was good until I typed it and autocorrect made Kevin!

Definitely. Get rid of those fancy names.

FastWindow · 02/07/2015 00:32

I have a 12yo Kevin. It suits him. Although the preferred spelling would have been Kevan. Any good?

Sophronia · 02/07/2015 00:30

I like both Kevin and Gary Grin I think it'll be a while before they make a comeback though.

passthewineplz · 02/07/2015 00:29

I'm put off by names to, I refuse to date any Kevin's, Gavin's, Mark's or Stephen's as I associate the names to idiots! Lol!

scarletforya · 02/07/2015 00:25

Not. Reminds me of that mechanic from Coronation street with the minge moustache. It's so dated, dull and ordinary. Like Barry or Gary.

Y0la · 02/07/2015 00:21

Fair enough. My X's name, I hate it. I hate it so much that when I later met a very nice man with the same name, he never really stood a chance!

passthewineplz · 02/07/2015 00:19

Lol! Y0la funnily enough my first boyfriend was called Kevin, and he was soft and boring. My ex was called Gavin and he's just an arse, and I've always disliked the name...

Y0la · 02/07/2015 00:15

I think Gavin sounds soft! Confused

passthewineplz · 02/07/2015 00:08

I'm not a fan, it's a harsh/hard sounding name like Gavin

MrsHathaway · 02/07/2015 00:07

Kevin, Dave, Stuart and Bob. Definitely due a comeback.

But not for children.

Eleleleo · 02/07/2015 00:07

Not yet! Next generation maybe. DD already has named her imaginary friends Kevin, Craig and Gary Hmm

Y0la · 02/07/2015 00:07

maybe, I know a woman who called her baby Kevin and all of her children have dated names.

I don't hate it tbh. I'm not Catholic but it's got a kind of solidity to it. Like Brendan. I prefer Brendan though.
