I can hardly believe that.

What is it? A trend? Some kind of allusion? A family name?

OP posts:

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Set a reminder

A friend of mine swears she has come across a lawyer called Hugh Cumber. Why, just why?

Germgirl · 19/06/2015 09:58

Soup brilliant :)

getbusyliving · 19/06/2015 09:49

do you mean Grenville? We have a second cousin with this name

CaptainAnkles · 19/06/2015 08:48

I really hope that's not true

IsItStupid · 19/06/2015 08:35

I don't think it is! Surely not?

Where did you hear this OP?

AlisonBlunderland · 19/06/2015 08:27

That boy will be a cert to get into Hogwarts

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/06/2015 08:27

How utterly selfish, Wuthering!

Re Greville, the only thing Google throws up for me on this is this thread. Where did you hear the news, OP?

WutheringFrights · 19/06/2015 08:25

Soupdragon I said that to my mate when she had her first (she is a Cumberpatch) she didn't think it was such a good idea. She then had twin boys...neither of them are called Quentin either...

I feel this is a wind up
Source???

Ilovenannyplum · 19/06/2015 08:16

Oh that's bad. Sounds like a make of toaster.

If it had been suggested on a baby name board previously it would have been shot down but now Cumber-whateverhisnameis has used it, MN will be all over it!

UnspecialSnowflake · 19/06/2015 08:11

How do you pronounce that? Is it like gravel but with an e sound rather than an a, or is it more grey-vile.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/06/2015 08:10

MerryMarigold · 19/06/2015 08:10

Like a cross between Breville and gravel. I prefer Brevel if you must combine them.

SoupDragon · 19/06/2015 08:09

They shoud have called him Quentin so he would have been Q Cumberpatch.

SoupDragon · 19/06/2015 08:08

Greville? Um... OK.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 19/06/2015 08:07

I like it! It sure stands out
