I love Rupert! Or Sam if you are feeling less brave but I would use Samuel on the BC.

Benedict is great.

Not keen on the use of diminutives so Sam & Freddie not too my taste.

Could cope with Freddie (but wouldn't be on my list)

Can't stand Rupert or Benedict.
Out of the 2, would choose Benedict as he could just tell 99% of people his name was Ben, which would be OK.

However - that is all totally personal opinion - I have no reasoned argument to help your decision Grin

Not Rupert. It's partly a tartan scarf wearing bear and partly a pretentious, overly fussy, name.

Benedict can be Ben or Ned - both lovely. Sam - always a nice name. Freddie - fine, very cute for a baby - but could you imagine a 25 year old Freddie as easily?

Benedict comes a very close second.

Not keen on Sam and really dislike Rupert.

Samuel is lovely but not keen on Sam as a full name. Weirdly I do like Ben as a full name, possibly more so than Benedict! Rupert also good. Freddie I'm less taken with.

I like Rupert best. I know a dog called Freddie, so that puts me off it (not v helpful I know). I don't really like unisex names like Sam (Chris, Alex, that sort of thing). And Benedict would probably be 'Ben', which is OK, but a bit plain I think.

Sam - short for Samuel? Rather dull.
Rupert - awful.
Benedict - don't like. I know one and he gets Ben all the time anyway. Benjamin much nicer.
Freddie - yikes no. Short for Frederick? In the same awful vein as Alfie, Archie, Charlie, etc etc.
