Is Capucine just too French?

Im expecting dd2. Married to a French man and currently living in France....

I really like the the name Capucine but Im Not sure how it will be received in England. We don't have any plans to move back but you never know...

Do you think people will pronounce it like Capuccino minus the o?
Do you think it's just too French?

That's what I'm thinking too... It's more of a seen rather than cheeen sound at the end.

Might have to keep it for a middle name or a cat

I really do want something that will sound more or less the same in both languages... Dd1 is Margot. We also like Inès, Manon and Clementine.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Yes I think it will be pronounced like cappuccino.minus the o. I'm not sure I'd name a daughter after a flower or a monks hood.

I thought it was a monkey but itse spelt differently.

I think most people will say 'capuccin(o)' tbh.

There are lovely names that are very French but not as difficult to pronounce as this.
