Was just thinking that Hestialou, Hera was a right cow!

My only issue with gods names is if they don't live up to them, hestia is domestic goddess, but what if dd cant cook?

Boys are much harder! Loki is becoming more popular and a lot of the other names I can think of would sound quite pretentious or wacky to my ear?

They do but they seem to be the sort of names I gravitate to, want something different that means something

When I was training some years ago a new mum told the midwives she was going to call her new son Thor - they said people would think he had a lisp.....Grin

marshmallowpies · 02/05/2015 18:39

Thora is a name I'd love to bring back - it will always be associated with Thora Hird but when you consider its the female version of Thor, it is pretty cool. I know a Thurston as well.

IvoryMadonna · 02/05/2015 18:34
