Heard a woman in the park calling her dd (aged 4-5) by this name yesterday. Not keen myself, but is it due a revival?

My mum's name. Chosen by my nan whilst my grandad was away at war. He came back, nan introduced him to his new daughter Maureen, and he said "I'm not calling her THAT" so she's known as Chris - middle name Christina. She hates Maureen.

Maureen is from my Mum's generation...women who are in their 60s and 70s now...so I am waiting for the Joans, Jeans and Dots to appear.
