Daisy or Poppy?

After much deliberation we have narrowed it down to two girls names. I prefer Daisy and Dp prefers Poppy. What do you think? Are there any horrible connotations that I haven't thought about?

What about a more serious name and either of the cutesy flower names as a nickname or middle name?

poppy is the name of Jamie Oliver's daughter I think. don't know if that makes it more or less desirable

Though Pops is a cute nickname!
