Tate is gorgeous, my friend's son has a Tait (he's 18) and he's lovely. Pretty sure Emma Bunton's son is called Tate.

Jayden is okay but Elijah is awful IMO.

People on here will vote for Elijah because it is traditional.

I'm not mad keen on any of them, but would go for Tate as I find the shortening to Eli so whiny.

No, some people don't like the name Jayden. It gets tedious when people try to blame opinions on some kind of hive mind.

Elijah is gorgeous. Jaden is a perfectly nice name that MN has taken against and views as being a bit common. I like it though. Tate I'm not so sure about - I only know one and he's a cat with a brother called Lyle.

I think Jadon will be a name which dates very quickly. I don't dislike it though

I know a boy and a girl Tate. I really dislike it for either gender. It's just so...bland and short. And reminds me of potato.

Jayden is a bit awful.

Elijah by far the best.

I like Tate. Reminds me of the film Little Man Tate, although it was a surname for that. Another suggestion is Nathaniel with nn Nate.

Have you considered Jace? There's a Jace in my DD's nursery class and I think it has the same feel as Tate :-)
