Charlotte and Louisa. Have a Charlotte and Louisa was on the shortlist. Advantage of Louisa is that it's not too popular. Our Charlotte is called Lulu as could a Louisa.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 22/04/2015 23:18

Charlotte
Louisa
Alice
in that order.

SweetAndFullOfGrace · 22/04/2015 23:02

I don't think girl's names should sound diminutive so I would avoid any that end in 'a' or 'ie'/'y'. I like Charlotte and Alice.

DramaAlpaca · 22/04/2015 23:00

Louisa is my favourite, Tabitha my least.

crapfatbanana · 22/04/2015 22:58

Oh, I love all of them, but have always had a thing for Tabitha.

Chancewouldbefinething · 22/04/2015 22:56

Beatrix is lovely

CruCru · 21/04/2015 19:22

In order, Beatrix, then Louisa (will it annoy you if people shorten it to Louise?), then Alice.

Ottilie sounds like Utterly and drunk men will find this amusing. Tabitha - no but I don't know why. I've never liked Charlotte for some reason and I know lots of Lotties, it seems to be the name of choice for four and five year olds in the home counties.

Toothfairy87 · 21/04/2015 15:18

Louisa and Tabitha :)
Tabitha (could be tabby as short) is very lovely and unusual .. They both are very good choices! Good luck deciding! Let us know!

PrimroseEverdeen · 21/04/2015 15:05

All nice but Ottilie is my favourite!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 21/04/2015 14:45

Charlotte

TempsPerdu · 21/04/2015 14:44

I really like Alice, Ottilie and Tabitha. Louisa's OK but a bit insipid, and I'm not a fan of Beatrix or Charlotte.

Tattiesthroughthebree · 21/04/2015 12:09

Alice (lovely!)
Louisa (also lovely!)
Charlotte (another lovely name!)
Beatrix (lovely, but I prefer Beatrice)

Ottilie (ok)

Tabitha

Though I might like Tabitha better if I didn't think of it as a cat's name.

cosmicglittergirl · 21/04/2015 07:10

Beatrix and Tabitha are lovely.

So are Alice and Charlotte, but I've seen both on a royal baby name list...

Guin1 · 21/04/2015 06:16

Tabitha.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 20/04/2015 22:45

All very pretty aside from Ottilie and Tabitha.

Allthatnonsense · 20/04/2015 22:45

Alice or Beatrice

YawnyMcYawn · 20/04/2015 22:42

Alice but I'd consider spelling it Alys.

RubyFlint · 20/04/2015 22:38

I think Lottie is the best and Bea. Sorry I don't really like any of the others. I've never heard of Otillie but isn't Tilly also short for Mathilda?

I suspect you'll get a mixed bag of likes and dislikes as names are so personal aren't they. I think choose whatever you like and hope you still like it in ten years!

sweetpeame · 20/04/2015 22:23

A few of them are "nice" but I don't love any of them. Beatrix (Bea) is best. I don't like Tabitha at all, it sounds like the name of a cat (sorry!).

Rhubarbgarden · 20/04/2015 22:21

Tabitha

hidingfromthem · 20/04/2015 21:58

Tabitha. i love that name.

LuckyLuckyMe · 20/04/2015 21:57

Charlotte or Louisa

StrangeGlue · 20/04/2015 21:55

Tabitha

PelicanDaisy · 20/04/2015 21:54

Beatrix (Bea) - not keen
Charlotte (Lottie) - nice but fairly popular (if that bothers you)
Alice - potential Royal baby name if that bothers you!
Ottilie (Tilly) - LOVE this, it is different but not unheard of, has nickname options, i like the O sound
Louisa - a bit meh
Tabitha - Would be called Tabby and it just makes me think of a cat

KipperTheFish · 20/04/2015 21:51

Ottilie.
