I have a ds (2) and dd (6mts), and we just found out we're expecting!! They will all be close in age so I see them as a little gang and want their names to go well together. I am totally totally certain it's a boy for whatever reason so just thinking of boys names right now (find girls much easier anyway). My two have very very popular names. Think strong, short names that most people like. Top 10 but very old/classic rather that some of the trendy ones. I want something unusual for #3 (as I wasn't brave enough to go with Knox and Indy for #1 and #2!). But would like it to not be aggressively unusual. What do you think of Levi (forget about the jeans, nobody wears them anymore anyway!)? Any other unusual suggestions that are not too out there?

OP I don't think I can really make any suggestions as we clearly have very different tastes
And yes where I am from Levi is very chavvy (whoever said it wasn't) Levi's siblings are usually Jayden, Paris, Porscha & Neveah type names

Levi - no. I don't like it - I hate the term Chav BUT there are some who will make that link (I am a teacher so know how people react to certain names).
It is your decision though.

I think the Old Testament names are nice.

Caleb is another one that's becomming more popular.

The only Levi's I know aRe both girls. Just making sure you are aware it's a unisex name.

TheTravellingLemon · 12/04/2015 11:15

I like levi, I also see it as an old Jewish name.

If that's the kind of thing you like, what about:

Eli
Ruben
Seth

bridgetsmummy · 12/04/2015 11:14

Levi is awful, I hate names that claim to be "out there" or "unique"
They're usually just a bit ridiculous.
I sometimes think people need reminding that they are naming a real person not a doll or a dog!!!

Droflove · 12/04/2015 11:13

I wouldn't have seen it as chavvy. I see it more like old Jewish name. But I am interested in all opinions so no worries:) Would have been nice if Blue bananas had some alternative suggestions?

I love the name Levi.

Ignore the snotty 'chav' posts. Some posters on MN are up their own arses.

BlueBananas · 12/04/2015 11:01

Levi = chavalicious
