Jemima, Nancy?

These are our 2 favourite names for a girl, I really can't decide. DH favours Nancy and I really don't know. Any other suggestions?

I was going to say Florence. Definitely prefer Nancy to Jemima

Violet is a million times nicer than both Nancy and Jemima.

I know too many Florences already.

I really hadn't appreciated the racial overtones for Jemima, never occurred to me. Thought more of Jemima Puddleduck or Jemima Goldsmith/Khan to be honest.

Violet, now there's a thought.

I prefer Nancy.

The racial overtones of 'Aunt Jemima' put me off that name. Even though we're not in America.

or - Florence, Sylvia, Violet - I've heard all of them as middle or sibling names with Nancy
