Vera, Mabel or Hyacinth?

What do you think when you hear these names?

Hyacinth started off as a boys name but is now unisex.

Ya-ya is a good nn.

But I like it in its entirety.

Isn't Hyacinth a boy's name?

Definitely granny-tactic though.

My gran was Vera and my great aunt was Mabel. I'm 51.

I took names that I thought of as ugly and tried to see why they might be appealing. These three really grew on me but Beryl, Gladys and Phyllis didn't.

Same as Gemerama.

To me, Mabel is the only one that's vaguely usable.

Just not a fan of granny chic names, sorry!

I quite like Mabel. Hyacinth - hmm. Vera - absolutely not. You cannot inflict Vera on your poor child.
