Opinions on these names please

I am 31 weeks pregnant and we have decided to wait for a surprise regarding babies gender :) we already have 3 children - boy, girl, boy and this is our last baby.

So far we have these girls names:
Harper (i love it)
Sidney (it has alot of sentimental meanings in my OHs family - but as a boys name not a girls. I don't like it as a boys name but dont mind it for a girl.

Boys names:
I LOVE the name Paris -OH not too keen but would come round i think
I like Beau too and my youngest narrowly missed out on this name but OH not too keen
Radlea is a new one i discovered today
Heath

My other children are Finn (11) Amber (10) & Billy (2)

Opinions on these names please!

I like Paris for a boy. Though he isn't the greatest namesake in Greek mythology. I know a little boy called Paris, seems to get along fine with it.

Radlea makes me want to pronounce it Rad-lee-ah rather than Rad-Lee as you'd get from Radley.

Love love love Heath. That's our top boys choice for first baby due in 4 weeks. Grin

I like Sidney, but for a boy rather than a girl.

I can't believe people relate Paris to the city rather than the Greek mythology character?!Shock
Anyway, I like the sound of Paris for both m and f, but it was a male name originally. It got ruined by the Hiltons unfortunately.

Harper I like, though it's true that it sounds very Beckham like Hmm

Paris was originally a male name. In Greek mythology, he was a Trojan prince; he kidnapped Helen of Sparta, triggering a long and dreadful war.

The capital of France was named after a Celtic Iron Age people, the Parisii, who lived on the site.

Sidney/Sydney is fine for boy or girl.

For the rest, I really don't wish to sound critical, but you did ask for opinions:

Radlea is a 'yooneek' spelling of a surname/place name (and it's also the name of a v. well-known IT company - have a look at Google). If you like the sound of the name, and the meaning (= Red wood or woodland clearing), then Radley would be better, at least in my opinion.

Beau is masculine and has a great meaning (handsome), but to me it works better as a nickname, rather than a proper name.

Heath just makes me think of windswept open countryside, but I know that many people like it. People also like Harper, but I'm afraid it always makes me think of a woman in a long frock playing the harp. Nothing wrong with either of those thoughts, of course...

Arthur is a much nicer name than any of the others you've mentioned!!!

Harper - a surname, not a first name, and is too "Beckham" for me (how many pre-Beckham Harpers are there???)
Sidney - is a boy's name. And Sydney is correct better

Paris -girls's name though actually a city, not a name
Beau - but what if he's not "beau"? (you do know what it means??) Radlea is truly awful, and not a name anyway - Radleigh would be marginally better.
Heath - again, a surname, not a name.

Go for Arthur and save your DS a lifetime of having to explain his name and/or spell it for people.

Finn, Amber and Billy are lovely names - why have you gone all weird with the fourth child?? not fair
Arthur is a much nicer name than any of the others you've mentioned!!!

Paris is dreadful for a girl, but I really like it for a boy. I like Shakespeare names full stop though!

Ooooh, I have a Savannah AND a Jessica. I also love Hannah. Although I like Harper and Syndey I like your new options much more.

Harrison is also lovely and wouldn't have to become Harry. Could shorten to Harris? Don't think you need to shorten it at all though. Joseph also lovely. Why not ask you brother what he thinks? He might be flattered. If my sister wanted to call her baby the same name as me I'd be quite happy.

I quite like savanah, jessica and Hannah too for a girl.

Still no idea on the boys name though!!
OH really wants arthur :( or thomas which is his name and his family name too am not into the whole father/son with the same name thing though.

Other boys names i quite like are
Harrison - BUT i don't like Harry
Joseph - This is my brothers name though so its off the list (even though he is a joe maybe a bit weird?!!

The only boy name I like of yours is Heath. The others are imo horrid.

Girls names both nice. Are you sure you can't grow to like Sidney for a boy? Oh and actually, what about Harper for a boy?

TBH i we are more sure on girls names than boys names - we do think this baby will be a girl but obviously theres every chance i could be a boy too!!

Sydney or harper we are pretty sure on.

However you have put me off the name Pairs! and now am not keen on Heath.

ARGH its too difficult to find a nice boys name we agree on! OH likes arthur but no way!
