Had a 4d scan of my baby girl today, now i have seen her i'm still struggling to find the perfect name.
So take a look at these pictures of her and tell me the first name that comes to mind.
Thank you

(I tend to like unusual, pretty, feminine names.... Nature inspired)

Surname is a w so no w first names and would prefer to avoid N and E names aswell as dc1&2 initials....... Middle name is Mabel

Whats her name?

Laurel is beautiful, not sure how well it goes with Mabel though?

Ferne Mabel is lovely.

Hazel Mabel not so keen.

FatSwan · 25/05/2015 00:31

She looks like Sophia to me.

mathanxiety · 25/05/2015 00:26

Daphne is a Greek name meaning laurel or bay tree.
Laurel is also a nice name (imo) and unusual. W.B Yeats wrote a lovely poem 'A Prayer for my Daughter' with a laurel tree motif running through it.

Hazel is sweet too.

For your tastes I'd say either Bluebelle, Poppy Honey Daisy oR Rose, but to me she looks very much like a Georgia.
Oh congratulations

mathanxiety · 24/05/2015 03:04

I really like Jasmine as suggested a few times.

Also:
Phoebe (Biblical but not obviously so)
Lydia (again Biblical but obscurely so)
Keziah (also Biblical but unusual)

Is it just me finding the idea of naming a scan picture rather disconcerting? Sorry, op! I do think babies grow into their names and don't initially look like a particular name. Good luck, but I'm out with this one!

Hadn't read the other posts until afterwards... There seem to be a lot of suggestions for Ferne or Fern if that helps. I prefer it with an e ending Smile
Rowan would be great if she's a redhead.

TheImprobableGirl · 22/05/2015 17:44

I think she looks like:
Ruby
Savannah
Alexia
Poppy
Matilda (nn tilly)
Antigone (nn tiggy) [ahn-tig-oh-nee)
Harriet (nn hattie)

LeoandBoosmum · 22/05/2015 17:36

Rowan

Ferne (or just Fern, no 'e')

Seren (think it means star in Welsh). I love it and it goes back a long way, and isn't over-used just now.

Camille (pronounced the french way...'Cammy')

These are the names that sprang to mind when I saw her. She is beautiful!

YellowLemons · 22/05/2015 16:02

Violet is lovely Smile

swancourt · 22/05/2015 15:19

Rose :)

crapfatbanana · 22/05/2015 12:42

Why does she have to look like her name? Just pick a name you like and that's her.

ems1910 · 22/05/2015 12:37

Oh, she is an Alice :)

Jemimapuddleduk · 22/05/2015 08:11
