Myles is the Irish spelling I believe - fantastic name. I like it with a y, more dynamic.

YesILikeItToo · 12/03/2015 13:50

Miles Davis. 'Nuff said Smile

Silentelf · 12/03/2015 13:48

I love it too- it's my DS2 Middle name. DC3 on the way now, if it's a boy I will wish I'd saved it for his first name!

busymummy2boys1girl · 12/03/2015 10:33

Thanks everyone! Funnily enough my husband prefers the Myles spelling but I changed it so might rethink Smile my other boys have common names and there's duplicates in one of their classes so I'm hoping for a nice name but not too common if you get me xx

DramaAlpaca · 11/03/2015 21:04

I like both Miles & Myles.

My DH hated it Sad

Trooperslane · 11/03/2015 21:02

Like it a Myles.

Velvetbee · 11/03/2015 21:00

Really like it.

montyandmabel · 11/03/2015 20:31

I really like it!

CarlaVeloso · 11/03/2015 20:19

Don't start making it popular, please!! It was our reserve name for DS1 - I'm saving it for next (what next?) time!

Can you tell I like it? Smile

momb · 11/03/2015 20:19

In principle I like it, but alas the only children I know with it have PFB parents and the boys are a bit spoiled, so I associate it with that type of child.

StrawberryMojito · 11/03/2015 20:15

I like it. Don't love it but it's definitely a good name.

WhispersOfWickedness · 11/03/2015 20:13

I know one Smile It's ok, it reminds me of a character in This Life...

totallyunanonymous · 11/03/2015 20:11

I've name-changed for this, as I'm going to out myself. We both loved the name, but our surname is Long....

goshhhhhh · 11/03/2015 20:07

Like it

rockinrobintweet · 11/03/2015 20:06

as a PP said I prefer Myles myself. I LOVE the nn Milo tooGrin

Trundlebundle · 11/03/2015 17:47

Love it. Love Myles even more.

Leeds2 · 11/03/2015 17:45

It wouldn't be my choice, but there is nothing "wrong" with it. Don't think I have ever met a Miles, of any age.

myotherusernameisbetter · 11/03/2015 17:22

I know a few adult ones - not posh!

to me it fits nicely with the Elliot/Marcus type of names but is also good with traditional classless names like Daniel, Alexander etc

AuntieStella · 11/03/2015 17:17

I don't really like it. But it's a perfectly good name IYSWIM.

Archfarchnad · 11/03/2015 17:15

Are name miles a bit like air miles?

rockybalboa · 11/03/2015 17:13

Love it. It's a family name on my side so was on the list for DS3 but DH he say no...

SconeCreamJam · 11/03/2015 17:12

I love it. Was on my list but DH not keen.

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 11/03/2015 17:07

Too posh sounding for my taste..
