We've just told the patents we're having another DC.

Their suggestions so far are

Ian and
Malcolm for boys
and
Jean for a girl!

No no no!

If my DS was a Dd we were going to call her Ruth! I like jean!

Hadron21 · 05/03/2015 11:37

My mil suggested Ruth. I thought she was joking.

so far I've had, Hercules, Red, Zeus, Thor and Jett...we don't even know if we are having a boy or a girl and sadly none of the above were said as a joke...

My DH named DD2 to please his mother and I regret allowing him to do this so much. It is fine, just very popular and boring.

my poor unborn son is having derek as a middle name! his dad kicked off and wanted some input in naming this one (I named the other two) so decided to put his dads name in there. poor baby Sad

I like Jean!

Choccyhobnob · 05/03/2015 10:52

DH's stepmother has said it would be so lovely to give baby DFIL's name as a middle name.

It is one of those 40's/50's names that I hope won't be making a comeback anytime soon (think Keith/Barry/Derek sort of names!) and DH has it as a middle name and absolutely hates it! Why would he pass this onto our offspring?!

Ikeameatballs · 05/03/2015 10:50

I also quite like Jean.

When I was pregnant with dd fil suggested Janet.

Gunpowder · 05/03/2015 10:48

I quite like Jean! Definitely coming back in our bit of London. Yes, no no to Ian and Malcolm though!

MIL and DPs have suggested quite sweet names, but nothing 'right' IYSWIM.
