I love Emmeline & Evangeline, both beautiful names.

I think it's a really beautiful name but years of teaching and listening to how kids shorten each other's names, I would worry that she'd get called Vange or Vangey......

How about Emmeline?

Our dd has a similar length first name. How about Joy or Ruth as a middle name?

I love this name, but it just seems a bit 'much'. If you end up shortening it then she may end up Eva or Eve. If you use Evangeline every time then it should be ok.
