This is my "short" list of names for DD4. Full name would be a combination of 2/3 of these with a W surname. I have already noted that initials GF and FGM would be best avoided! Is OW a pitfall or am I being too picky?

FGM is female genital mutilation and I have be known to tell my husband to GF.

I am obsessive about initials!

I love Elinor and Genevieve. And Orla (Irish spelling is Orlaith which I'm not mad keen on tbh).

Would avoid FGM initials but the others are fine.

I love Elinor and Flora, Orla I'm not a massive fan of, doesn't it have an Irish spelling orleigth or something similar? I think the English spelling is a bit ugly

I love all of them, with Emmeline being my favourite.

I wouldn't worry about initials. As you say, I'd avoid FGM, but other than that I can't see a problem.

OW is fine, as is GF. I don't think initials matter at all, mine spell out something funny, nobody else has ever noticed that I know of.

Love Emmeline in particular, but they are all good. French or English pronounciation of Genevieve, they are quite different?
